Delete your account and associated data

Delete from TruthScroll

1. Open TruthScroll and sign in to the account you want deleted.
2. Open the account menu and choose Privacy and data settings.
3. Under Delete account, type DELETE.
4. Select Delete account permanently and confirm.

Request assistance

If you cannot sign in, email jschwerin@thebasementgroupllc.com from the email address connected to your TruthScroll account. Use the subject “TruthScroll account deletion request.” We may ask you to verify account ownership before deleting it.

Data deleted

Deleting the account removes the Supabase authentication account and cloud data associated with it, including synced Bible notes, highlights, saved study collections, account profile records, and submitted content-concern reports.

Deletion through the in-app control is initiated immediately. A verified email request will normally be completed within 30 days.

Data not automatically removed from your device

Reading position, chapter history, preferences, recent Ask activity, and signed-out study content may remain only in the app or browser storage on your device. Clear these through Privacy and Data Settings, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app.

Limited records that may be retained

TruthScroll does not retain the deleted account for marketing. Limited security, fraud-prevention, transactional, backup, or diagnostic records may remain temporarily with infrastructure providers where required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or routine backup expiration. These records are access-restricted and are not used to recreate the account.
