How TruthScroll works
Trust should be inspectable.
Scripture is presented as the authority. Everything TruthScroll adds—language evidence, connections, interpretation, application, and AI output—is a study aid that can be questioned and corrected.
Content labels
- Scripture: KJV biblical text.
- Direct evidence: visible wording, grammar, or source records.
- Strong evidence: a well-supported conclusion that still involves analysis.
- Interpretation: reasoned theological explanation, not inspired text.
- Alternative view: a significant orthodox reading presented fairly.
- Limited confidence: evidence does not justify a firm conclusion.
Theological approach
TruthScroll uses historical-grammatical reading, literary and covenant context, and Scripture interpreting Scripture. It is broadly conservative and Christian. Typology and prophetic patterns are labeled as interpretation; thematic similarity is not treated as proof of authorial intent.
TruthScroll may present views associated with particular teachers, including Chuck Missler, but does not present any teacher's conclusions as equal to Scripture.
Original-language guardrails
A dictionary gloss is not automatically the meaning of a word in every verse. The tools consider form, grammar, context, and the limits of the underlying datasets. A different English rendering does not by itself prove that the KJV is wrong.
AI guardrails
Ask responses must separate textual observations, interpretation, alternatives, application, limitations, and confidence. Citation buttons open the passage, language evidence, and connections so users can inspect the answer rather than trust a black box.
Source register
- KJV Scripture text: public-domain King James Version.
- Hebrew morphology and word evidence: STEPBible Data and the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible, CC BY 4.0.
- Greek word evidence: STEPBible openly licensed datasets.
- Connections: CrossReferences.org, derived from the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge, CC BY 4.0 and still undergoing curation.
Corrections
Every major study output includes “Report a concern.” Reports enter a private editorial queue with the passage, content type, and user explanation. Corrections should be documented in release notes when they materially change a claim.
